Refund policy
At San Antonio Mulch Delivery, we are committed to providing quality bulk landscape materials and dependable service. Due to the nature of our products and delivery methods, all sales are subject to the policy below.
Bulk & Loose Material Sales Are Final
All sales of bulk, loose, truck-delivered, or scooped materials are final.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Mulch
- Compost
- Soil blends
- Topsoil
- Potting soil
- Lawn dressing / top dressing
- Decomposed granite
- River rock
- Other bulk landscape materials
Because these products are sold loose, delivered by dump truck or trailer, and cannot be recovered, resold, or returned in merchantable condition after leaving our control, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on bulk material orders once loaded, scheduled, dispatched, delivered, or dumped.
No Returns for Customer Ordering Errors
Customers are solely responsible for confirming the correct product, quantity, color, texture, material type, and intended use before placing an order.
We are not responsible for orders placed incorrectly by the customer, including but not limited to:
- Ordering too much or too little material
- Selecting the wrong material
- Choosing the wrong color or texture
- Ordering for the wrong application or project
- Expecting a different appearance than delivered
Customer ordering errors do not qualify for cancellation, return, exchange, credit, or refund.
Natural Product Variation
Many of the products we sell are natural, recycled, organic, screened, dyed, or manufactured from raw materials and may vary from load to load.
Variation may occur in, without limitation:
- Color or shade
- Texture
- Moisture content
- Particle size
- Fineness / coarseness
- Wood content, compost content, or rock appearance
- Settling, compaction, or expansion after delivery
Product photos, descriptions, examples, prior loads, and sample images are provided for general reference only and are not a guarantee of identical appearance or composition.
Natural or expected variation does not constitute damage, defect, or grounds for refund.
Delivery Access & Site Conditions
By placing a delivery order, the customer represents and warrants that the delivery site is safe, accessible, and suitable for the ordered material and delivery vehicle.
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring:
- Correct delivery address
- Adequate truck access and turning space
- Safe unloading conditions
- Clearance from vehicles, structures, fences, gates, low branches, power lines, irrigation, and other obstacles
- That the delivery surface can support the weight of the truck and load
We are not responsible for damage to:
- Driveways
- Sidewalks
- Curbs
- Lawns
- Irrigation systems
- Underground utilities
- Landscaping
- Private roads or surfaces
- Any area selected or approved by the customer for delivery or dumping
If the driver determines that site conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, or likely to cause damage, we may refuse or limit delivery at our sole discretion.
If delivery cannot be completed due to customer-provided instructions, site conditions, lack of access, unsafe conditions, or an incorrect address, the order may be subject to delivery charges, redelivery charges, restocking charges, disposal charges, or cancellation without refund of applicable delivery-related fees.
Dump Location & Risk Transfer
Once material is dumped, unloaded, or released at the delivery location designated by the customer or customer representative, the order is considered accepted in full.
Ownership, responsibility, and risk of loss transfer to the customer immediately upon unloading, dumping, or release of the material.
We are not responsible for dissatisfaction related to where material was placed after it has been dumped in the location directed, approved, or accepted by the customer.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled or changed before they are processed, loaded, staged, scheduled, dispatched, or otherwise prepared for delivery.
Once an order has entered fulfillment, cancellation may be denied or may be subject to handling, restocking, or administrative fees.
Delivery fees are non-refundable once a truck has been scheduled or dispatched.
Incorrect, Missing, or Materially Defective Orders
If you believe we delivered the wrong material, materially shorted your order, or there is a legitimate fulfillment issue caused by us, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Claims must include:
- Order number
- Customer name
- Photos
- A clear written description of the issue
Claims should be submitted by email to info@SanAntonioMulchDelivery.com.
We reserve the right to inspect, investigate, verify quantities, and determine the appropriate remedy, if any, in our sole discretion.
If we determine that an error occurred on our part, our liability shall be limited, at our option, to one of the following:
- Replacement of the affected material
- Store credit
- Partial refund
- Refund of the purchase price actually paid for the affected item only
Under no circumstances shall we be liable for labor, project delays, landscaping costs, contractor charges, incidental damages, consequential damages, or any indirect loss related to an order.
Bagged or Packaged Retail Products
Unopened, unused, standard bagged or packaged retail items may be considered for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to inspection and approval.
To qualify, the item must be:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- In clean, resalable condition
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee. Original shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.
Special-order, custom-order, damaged, opened, seasonal, clearance, and bulk-loaded products are not eligible for return.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds, if any, will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow normal bank or card processor timelines for refunds to appear.
Policy Enforcement
We reserve the right to refuse any return, refund, exchange, cancellation, or claim that does not comply with this policy.
By placing an order for delivery, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
